The world famous giant dog George, a Great Dane, died on Thursday 17 October 2013. He was Guinness Book verified, as the tallest dog on record, measuring a whopping 3 feet 7 inches from his paw to his shoulder and from the tip of his shoulder and just less than 7 feet long. He was a Great Dane who was always eager to play and was scared stiff of other dogs hardly bigger than his gigantic paws. According to his owners, Dave and Christy Nasser, George was the runt of his litter. He was remembered from his appearance on the Television shows:”Good Morning America.” And also on:”Live with Regis & Kelly. One of his many fans wrote: “Thanks to the Nasser family for sharing him with the world, He will be missed.”
